Calculate your home energy savings

Windows are ‘energy holes’ in the home. They allow up to 50% of the homes heating energy through them. By minimising heat loss through your windows in winter and reducing the amount of radiant energy permitted to enter your home in summer the amount of energy needed to heat a property to a particular temperature can be significantly reduced, leading to a reduction in energy bills. This reduction can be up to 50%, dependent on the room and the selected Luxaflex product.

By using the Energy Saving Calculator, which has been developed as part of Luxaflex’s Keen on Green programme, savings can be made on energy bills in 3 easy steps.

All that is required is to answer a few simple questions, like: * What is your house type (do you live in an apartment or house?)

• What is the room type (living room, kitchen, bedroom?)
• What is your window thickness (are your windows single or double glazed)

With this information input, every user receives advice for the best energy saving product and what energy savings can be made in percentages from the Luxaflex® assortment.
