Your Luxaflex® Guarantee

Luxaflex® guarantees that all Luxaflex® products are free from material and assembly defects, provided that such products were properly installed by a recognised installer and are used in a domestic situation. The guarantee is limited to the original purchaser and covers products for 1 year, with extended coverage available on selected products listed below.

Shutters

Shutters are covered for up to 3 years on standard finishes and 2 years on designer colour finishes. The warranty includes repair or replacement of defective parts under normal residential use and proper installation, but excludes damage caused by misuse, incorrect installation, environmental exposure, normal wear and tear, and any removal, shipping, or reinstallation costs.

Duette® blinds, Silhouette® blinds, Outdoor Products

The obligation of Luxaflex® is limited to repair or replacement of the defective materials or components with identical or comparable components. Within two years of purchase, all guarantee service will be free of charge, but will exclude removal and re-installation. During the following three years after purchase the guarantee consists of cost-free repair or replacement, with the exception of dismantling and re-installation. During the next three years, the guarantee is limited to the replacement of defective parts, but excludes dismantling, assembly, re-installation and transportation costs outside the guarantee.

• Damage to the Luxaflex® product as a result of normal wear and tear, incorrect or non-expert assembly, alteration, removal, re-installation, exposure to the elements, motorisation, accident, misuse and errors or negligence regarding measurements, cleaning or maintenance is excluded from this guarantee.
• Luxaflex® wood products are made from natural timbers and can deviate from our sample material. Differences in colour and structure and changes in colour through exposure to sunlight are characteristic of real wood and are excluded from this guarantee. Areas with high levels of heat and humidity can accelerate the aging process and cause the wood to warp. These changes are also excluded from the guarantee.
• Luxaflex® fabrics can also deviate from our sample material. Differences in colour and structure and changes in colour with these fabrics is also not covered by this guarantee.
• The guarantee is exclusive and in lieu of all other obligations, liabilities or warranties. Luxaflex® is not responsible for direct damage other than that as described above, or for any indirect, incidental or subsequent damage, loss or expenses.
• The guarantee does not affect the consumer’s statutory rights under applicable laws in force or the consumer’s rights against the retailer arising from their purchase contract.
